My day started with my mom waking me up so I could wake everyone else up.  Justin’s grandma and grandpa, John and Judy, made us breakfast.  It was a big breakfast.  We had eggs, muffins, bagels, strawberries, cereal, and grapefruits from their garden that were the size of my head.
Paul came and got us and we headed to the hotel.  We had to get to an event where we were riding with the mayor and some other people from Tucson.  Since we were late Mr. Thomsen didn't look too happy and we had to really hurry to get to our meeting point.  Once we got there we saw a bunch of people who were going to go on the ride with us.  It was pretty cool, even the real mayor was there.  We rode for 14 miles.
After riding with the mayor we went to Phoenix to watch a bike race.  We rode 1 lap around and talked to the crowd about our ride.  It was pretty fun.  All of the racers were professional, or at least really good, so it was nice of them to talk with us.  None of us can go that fast.
Next we went to Buckeye to meet their mayor and get a tour of their museum.  Tyrone and I were interviewed by a newspaper guy and we told him what we were doing and why we wanted to go on this trip.  I think we both did a good job.  While we were there we listened to a man tell us what Buckeye is doing for the environment.  After the meetings Gail, a nice lady from Buckeye, bought us ice cream.
From Buckeye, we rode our bikes towards Wickenburg where we were spending the night.   Jennifer, my mom, and I rode together.  Tim, Justin, and Tyrone rode together.  I finished my ride going 18 mph going up a hill.  I was zooming.  
