4-15-08 “3 Girl Musketeers”

I woke up to my mom saying “Sydney, it’s time to wake up.”  So I did.  I got all my stuff packed and out the door by 6:45am.  We were supposed to leave at 7:00am, but we left at 8:00am.  Jen , my mom, and Ally had to share a bike.  Justin and I were their support crew.   I videotaped and took pictures of them on the road and filled up their water bottles.  I recorded what time they started, their heart rate, and the mileage at the beginning and the end of each ride.  I didn’t get to ride very much because of the wind and steep hills so I did the grown up stuff.  The first trip all the girls rode 40+ miles.  There was a steep uphill and lots of wind.  The second trip they road another 40+miles through beautiful scenery.  There were cows and orange fields that smelled really good!  The whole ride Jennifer and I talked like Cartman from South Park.  Jennifer can imitate Cartman’s voice really well.  Her best line is “Kyle get in the kitchen and make me some pie.”  It made me laugh. The girls rode well today!
