4-19-08 Is it true

Its true that from the time I woke up this morning I was confused.  First of all last night I did my usual routine, wrote my journal, did some homework, picked my clothes out, did my hair and watched ten minutes of t.v. Then right before I went to bed I gave Ally the new updates on the events and reminded her to get directions to the event that's supposed to be taking place in Ashland, OR. She failed to do the assignment so I had to take it in my own hands and do it myself, which frustrated me, but I managed to get over it. After we left the hotel we went into town and most the riders got on the road. While we were driving Thomsen decided to stop in this area with these HUGE trees and we took some pictures (that was pretty cool). He told me they are Redwood trees and they are like the oldest living things on earth.  I have had a bit of an attitude all day due to due to the fact that only some people here on this trip understand me and we students don’t communicate very well and that is frustrating.  Thomsen is always telling us to help each other out, but everyone just does their own thing, and then when things don’t go right, everyone just starts pointing the finger at someone else.  It's very frustrating for me.  I talked with Thomsen about it and he gave me some good advice on how to handle things and so I feel better. We had an event in Ashland at two o’clock but we canceled because the cyclists were on the road riding through snow and cold and it was going to take too long to get to the event. Our next event was in Medford and we got there at 4:00 and met some really interesting but yet friendly people, one of them was from a cyclist club and two others from another cyclist club. I actually forgot the name, but I will find out soon. The event overall was cool and one interesting thing that I learned was that they were going to recycle rainwater for use in toilets and watering and they were also going to use LED lights in their stop lights. They are planning to begin this next year. After we left the event we went to our hotel and met Thomsen’s sister Carol, who is very sweet and beautiful. She took all of the guys and some of the chaperones to Old County Buffet. Me, Ally, and Sydney decided to stay behind and catch up on other things like laundry and journals, homework ect. Well is it true that today was good day but confusing day?? Of course.
